ClassArc's maths teachers are based in India and teach the English curriculum online, from Year 1 to A-Level. Every child keeps one teacher for every class, and you meet that teacher in a free lesson before paying anything.
What is ClassArc?
ClassArc is live one-to-one online maths tutoring for school-age children. One teacher and one child, for 55 minutes. The same teacher every week. Classes run inside our own classroom software, not a video call: a shared worksheet you both write on, a shared whiteboard, and answers that sync live.
Where they are
Every ClassArc teacher lives and works in India. We put that at the top because it is also the plain reason our classes cost less than most UK tuition: a good teacher's salary costs far less there, and nobody is paid less than they should be for it.
India is four and a half hours ahead of the UK during British Summer Time and five and a half hours ahead in winter. A class after school in Manchester or Bristol falls in the teacher's evening, which is why UK afternoon and evening slots are the ones we can staff well.

The founder
Rajat Sharma has taught maths for more than seven years, from the earliest school years through to the end of secondary. He started ClassArc to give each child a teacher who stays with them, and he still takes classes on the platform every week.
That matters for a UK parent in a practical way: the person who set up how classes run is still inside them, seeing what works in a real lesson rather than reading about it in a report.
What does not change
Your child is not handed to whoever is free that evening. The same teacher takes every lesson, so nothing is lost between weeks.
The free 55-minute class is taught by the teacher who would stay with your child. You judge them on real teaching, with your own child.
If the match is wrong, tell us. We arrange another free class with a different teacher, and you do not have to explain why.
Why no CVs
ClassArc does not list individual teacher CVs, and that is a deliberate choice. A degree title tells you what someone studied; it cannot tell you whether your Year 9 child will say "I don't get it" to them.
The free class answers that question directly. You watch a full lesson with the teacher who would actually teach your child, you see how they handle a wrong answer, and you decide. If they are not right, a different teacher takes the next free class.

One teacher can take a child through several stages, and where a course needs it we match a teacher who specialises in that curriculum.
How a teacher works with your child
Tutoring runs alongside school, not as a separate course of its own.
Before each class the teacher confirms which topic your child's class has reached, so the lesson backs up what school is teaching.
Homework follows that day's lesson and what school covers next. Your child submits it inside ClassArc, as a photo or typed.
The teacher goes through the submission before the next class, so they arrive knowing which step caused trouble.
A termly parent meeting covers what has improved and what still needs work. WhatsApp reminders arrive 24 hours and 1 hour before each class.

When you book a demo or sign up for classes, we collect your name, your child's name, email, WhatsApp number, time zone, and the grade you're inquiring about. That's it. We don't ask for or store any payment details on this website. We don't use trackers, cookies for advertising, or third-party analytics that profile you.
Only to schedule and run your classes, send you class reminders, share homework and progress, and answer your questions. We'll reach out by email or WhatsApp, depending on what you tell us works better for you.
Your teacher, and the small team supporting them at ClassArc. We never sell, rent, or share your information with anyone outside ClassArc. We use Web3Forms to receive form submissions, and standard email and WhatsApp for messaging, nothing else.
We treat any information about your child with extra care. We only collect what we need to teach them well, such as their grade and what they're working on. We never use a child's photo, name, or work in any marketing without the parent's explicit written permission.
You can ask us to show you what we have on file, correct anything inaccurate, or delete your data entirely, at any time. Just email hello@theclassarc.com and we'll handle it within a few days.

ClassArc is a one-on-one online tutoring service. We provide live, scheduled classes between a teacher and a student, along with homework, feedback, and study support.
Each class is 55 minutes. You can reschedule or cancel a class up to 5 minutes before it starts. If you miss a class without notice, we usually credit it back to your balance and reschedule based on what works for the teacher and student.
The first demo class is free, no card required. After that, plans are billed in advance for the number of classes you choose (8, 24, or ~48). We'll send you a payment link directly once you've picked a plan.
If you want to stop classes at any point, we refund whatever class balance is left on your plan. No questions asked, no friction. Refunds are processed within 7 business days.
We expect students and parents to treat teachers with respect, and teachers to do the same. We reserve the right to end the relationship if classes become unsafe, abusive, or disruptive, with a full refund of any unused balance.
If we update these terms, we'll email you before the changes take effect, so you have time to review them.
