One-on-one Common Core math from $13.50 a class, taught by the same teacher every week — inside our own classroom software, not a video call. Kindergarten through grade 12.
The approach
Common Core asks students to explain why a method works, not only to produce an answer. That is why homework often looks unfamiliar to parents who learned differently — the standards deliberately ask for models, number lines and written reasoning.
It is also why memorising steps stops working around grade 4. A student who can only follow a procedure hits a wall when the question asks them to justify it.
Kindergarten through grade 12, taught to the Common Core standards your child's school actually follows.
What changes a grade
A grade 7 student stuck on ratios usually has a grade 5 fractions gap. The first class looks for it rather than starting the current chapter.
We teach the approach your child's class uses, so they are not holding two conflicting methods at once.
Common Core asks for justification. A child who can explain the method can also, eventually, skip it safely.
Inside a class
Every class follows the same shape, so your child always knows what is coming.
You cannot assess a child's reasoning from a finished answer. You have to watch it being built.
Why the classroom mattersThe teacher opens last class's work and last week's homework. No re-explaining, no lost time.
Teacher and student write on the same interactive worksheet, live. The working appears as it is thought, not after.
Your child works a problem unaided while the teacher watches the method form and steps in only where it goes wrong.
Set from exactly what was taught, reviewed together next class. That review is where the learning actually lands.
Coverage
We follow the standards by grade, and we teach the domain your child's class is on now.
The platform
Most online tutoring is a video call with a shared PDF or a Google Doc. ClassArc built its own classroom instead, because Common Core math is about showing thinking, and thinking is hard to show over a webcam.
Teacher and student open the same interactive worksheet and both write on it live. There is a shared whiteboard for building a model together, and answers sync as they are typed.
Your child joins from a browser. Nothing to install, no meeting link to find.
Common Core asks a child to justify their method. You cannot assess a justification you never saw being formed.
Why we built our ownPrices in US dollars. Every class is 55 minutes, one-to-one, with the same teacher. First class free, no card required.

When you book a demo or sign up for classes, we collect your name, your child's name, email, WhatsApp number, time zone, and the grade you're inquiring about. That's it. We don't ask for or store any payment details on this website. We don't use trackers, cookies for advertising, or third-party analytics that profile you.
Only to schedule and run your classes, send you class reminders, share homework and progress, and answer your questions. We'll reach out by email or WhatsApp, depending on what you tell us works better for you.
Your teacher, and the small team supporting them at ClassArc. We never sell, rent, or share your information with anyone outside ClassArc. We use Formspree to receive form submissions, and standard email and WhatsApp for messaging, nothing else.
We treat any information about your child with extra care. We only collect what we need to teach them well, such as their grade and what they're working on. We never use a child's photo, name, or work in any marketing without the parent's explicit written permission.
You can ask us to show you what we have on file, correct anything inaccurate, or delete your data entirely, at any time. Just email hello@theclassarc.com and we'll handle it within a few days.

ClassArc is a one-on-one online tutoring service. We provide live, scheduled classes between a teacher and a student, along with homework, feedback, and study support.
Each class is 55 minutes. You can reschedule or cancel a class up to 5 minutes before it starts. If you miss a class without notice, we usually credit it back to your balance and reschedule based on what works for the teacher and student.
The first demo class is free, no card required. After that, plans are billed in advance for the number of classes you choose (8, 24, or ~48). We'll send you a payment link directly once you've picked a plan.
If you want to stop classes at any point, we refund whatever class balance is left on your plan. No questions asked, no friction. Refunds are processed within 7 business days.
We expect students and parents to treat teachers with respect, and teachers to do the same. We reserve the right to end the relationship if classes become unsafe, abusive, or disruptive, with a full refund of any unused balance.
If we update these terms, we'll email you before the changes take effect, so you have time to review them.
