One-to-one GCSE maths from £11 a class, taught by the same teacher every week — inside our own classroom software, not a video call. Foundation and Higher tier, all three boards.
The format
Every class is one teacher and one student for 55 minutes. Not a small group, and not a marketplace where the tutor changes between sessions.
Across two years of GCSE that continuity matters more than almost anything else — the teacher knows which topics your child quietly avoids, and returns to them rather than hoping they were understood.
Always one teacher to one student, and the same teacher every week. No group calls, no rotating tutors.
What actually moves a grade
A student stuck on quadratics usually has an unresolved Key Stage 3 gap underneath. We find it in the first class and repair it, rather than teaching Year 11 harder.
GCSE rewards working. Our classroom shows the teacher your child's method line by line as they write it, so a wrong approach gets corrected, not just a wrong number.
Once content is solid, classes move to timed past papers, then work backwards through the mark scheme so your child learns where marks actually sit.
Inside a GCSE class
Every class follows the same shape, so your child always knows what is coming and the teacher never spends the first ten minutes working out where you left off.
A mistake left unexplained is just a habit waiting to form. We close the loop before the next paper.
Why the method mattersThe teacher opens last class's work and last week's homework. No re-explaining, no lost time.
Teacher and student write on the same interactive worksheet, live. The working appears as it is thought, not after.
Your child works a problem unaided while the teacher watches the method form and steps in only where it goes wrong.
Set from exactly what was taught, reviewed together next class. That review is where the learning actually lands.
Coverage
We teach to the board your school uses, and to the tier your child is entered for.
The platform
Most online tutoring is a video call plus a shared PDF. ClassArc built its own classroom instead.
Teacher and student open the same interactive worksheet and both write on it live. There is a shared whiteboard for working a problem through, and answers sync as they are typed — so the teacher sees the method as it forms, not a finished answer with no working.
Your child joins from a browser. Nothing to install, no meeting link to find.
For a subject where the method carries most of the marks, watching the working happen is the difference between correcting an answer and correcting an approach.
Why we built our ownPrices in pounds. Every class is 55 minutes, one-to-one, with the same teacher. First class free, no card required.

When you book a demo or sign up for classes, we collect your name, your child's name, email, WhatsApp number, time zone, and the grade you're inquiring about. That's it. We don't ask for or store any payment details on this website. We don't use trackers, cookies for advertising, or third-party analytics that profile you.
Only to schedule and run your classes, send you class reminders, share homework and progress, and answer your questions. We'll reach out by email or WhatsApp, depending on what you tell us works better for you.
Your teacher, and the small team supporting them at ClassArc. We never sell, rent, or share your information with anyone outside ClassArc. We use Formspree to receive form submissions, and standard email and WhatsApp for messaging, nothing else.
We treat any information about your child with extra care. We only collect what we need to teach them well, such as their grade and what they're working on. We never use a child's photo, name, or work in any marketing without the parent's explicit written permission.
You can ask us to show you what we have on file, correct anything inaccurate, or delete your data entirely, at any time. Just email hello@theclassarc.com and we'll handle it within a few days.

ClassArc is a one-on-one online tutoring service. We provide live, scheduled classes between a teacher and a student, along with homework, feedback, and study support.
Each class is 55 minutes. You can reschedule or cancel a class up to 5 minutes before it starts. If you miss a class without notice, we usually credit it back to your balance and reschedule based on what works for the teacher and student.
The first demo class is free, no card required. After that, plans are billed in advance for the number of classes you choose (8, 24, or ~48). We'll send you a payment link directly once you've picked a plan.
If you want to stop classes at any point, we refund whatever class balance is left on your plan. No questions asked, no friction. Refunds are processed within 7 business days.
We expect students and parents to treat teachers with respect, and teachers to do the same. We reserve the right to end the relationship if classes become unsafe, abusive, or disruptive, with a full refund of any unused balance.
If we update these terms, we'll email you before the changes take effect, so you have time to review them.
For anything, email hello@theclassarc.com.
