The format
Every ClassArc class is one teacher and one student for 55 minutes. Not a small group, and not a marketplace where a different tutor appears each week.
Your child works with the same teacher throughout, so nobody spends the first ten minutes working out what was covered last time — and the teacher knows which topics get quietly avoided.

Affordability
Tutoring only helps if it keeps happening. A fee that feels fine in September and uncomfortable by February helps nobody, so ClassArc is priced to be something a UK family can sustain through the whole school year.
Affordable here does not mean cut back. Every class is the full 55 minutes, one to one, with a teacher who plans it around your child specifically — not a shared session or a recorded one.
There is nothing to pay on joining and nothing extra for materials, and if you stop, the classes you have not used are refunded.

The platform
Most online tutoring is a video call plus a shared PDF or a Google Doc. ClassArc built its own classroom instead, because a maths lesson needs more than two faces on a screen.
Teacher and student open the same interactive worksheet and both write on it at the same time, with a shared whiteboard beside it and typed answers appearing live.
Your child joins from a browser — no download, no meeting link to hunt for five minutes before the lesson.
For a subject worked on a page rather than spoken aloud, watching the working happen is the difference between correcting an answer and correcting an approach.
Why we built our ownTimings
Our teachers are in India, which suits UK families well. Classes run from late afternoon through evening UK time — typically 3 PM to 9 PM, after school and before bedtime.
Times are set to your local clock, so you never do the arithmetic. WhatsApp reminders arrive 24 hours and 1 hour before each class, in UK time. Reschedule or cancel up to five minutes before a class starts.
Your first class
The first class is free, runs the full 55 minutes, and is a lesson rather than a consultation. No card is needed to book it.
The teacher uses it to find where your child actually is against their year group. That often means opening above their current topic and stepping back until the ground is firm, because a Year 9 student stuck on algebra is frequently carrying a Year 6 gap in fractions.
You will finish it knowing how the teacher explains things and whether your child engages with them. Subject knowledge and experience matter; so does whether a child is comfortable enough to say they are lost. If the match is not right, we will arrange a second free class with a different teacher.
One lesson is enough to judge a teacher. That is why the first is free, and why it is a real one rather than a sales call.

When you book a demo or sign up for classes, we collect your name, your child's name, email, WhatsApp number, time zone, and the grade you're inquiring about. That's it. We don't ask for or store any payment details on this website. We don't use trackers, cookies for advertising, or third-party analytics that profile you.
Only to schedule and run your classes, send you class reminders, share homework and progress, and answer your questions. We'll reach out by email or WhatsApp, depending on what you tell us works better for you.
Your teacher, and the small team supporting them at ClassArc. We never sell, rent, or share your information with anyone outside ClassArc. We use Web3Forms to receive form submissions, and standard email and WhatsApp for messaging, nothing else.
We treat any information about your child with extra care. We only collect what we need to teach them well, such as their grade and what they're working on. We never use a child's photo, name, or work in any marketing without the parent's explicit written permission.
You can ask us to show you what we have on file, correct anything inaccurate, or delete your data entirely, at any time. Just email hello@theclassarc.com and we'll handle it within a few days.

ClassArc is a one-on-one online tutoring service. We provide live, scheduled classes between a teacher and a student, along with homework, feedback, and study support.
Each class is 55 minutes. You can reschedule or cancel a class up to 5 minutes before it starts. If you miss a class without notice, we usually credit it back to your balance and reschedule based on what works for the teacher and student.
The first demo class is free, no card required. After that, plans are billed in advance for the number of classes you choose (8, 24, or ~48). We'll send you a payment link directly once you've picked a plan.
If you want to stop classes at any point, we refund whatever class balance is left on your plan. No questions asked, no friction. Refunds are processed within 7 business days.
We expect students and parents to treat teachers with respect, and teachers to do the same. We reserve the right to end the relationship if classes become unsafe, abusive, or disruptive, with a full refund of any unused balance.
If we update these terms, we'll email you before the changes take effect, so you have time to review them.
