Counting to 100 and back from any number, number bonds within 20, and the first fractions, measures and shapes.
- Count to and across 100 forwards and backwards; count in 2s, 5s and 10s; read and write numbers to 100, and to 20 in words
- Number bonds and related subtraction facts within 20; add and subtract to 20; missing-number problems
- Grouping and sharing with objects and arrays — no times tables yet
- Halves and quarters of an object, shape or quantity
- Compare lengths, mass and capacity; recognise coins and notes; tell the time to the hour and half past
- Name common 2-D and 3-D shapes; describe whole, half, quarter and three-quarter turns
