Live one-to-one maths classes for children at Dubai's British, Indian, IB and American schools, taught to the course their own school follows. Every class is 55 minutes with the same teacher, booked in Dubai time, from AED 45 a class.
What is ClassArc?
ClassArc is live one-to-one online maths tutoring for school-age children. One teacher and one child, for 55 minutes. The same teacher every week. Classes run inside our own classroom software, not a video call: a shared worksheet you both write on, a shared whiteboard, and answers that sync live.
The first question
Dubai's private schools teach many different curricula side by side, so a Dubai address says nothing about the syllabus. By KHDA's count for 2024–25, British schools hold roughly 37% of the city's private-school students, Indian schools 26%, American schools 14% and IB schools 7%.
Each of those runs maths to its own calendar and towards its own exams. A fifteen-year-old in Year 10 at a British school, Class 10 at a CBSE school and Grade 10 at an American school are preparing for three unrelated sets of assessments.
So before any teaching starts, we ask for the school, the year or class, and the course or syllabus code. Figures from Dubai Media Office's report of the KHDA data.
Living in Dubai tells us your time zone. It tells us nothing about your child's syllabus.
Why we ask about the school before anything elseBy school type
Four school types cover most Dubai families. Here is the maths route each one follows, and the detail that tells us exactly where your child is.
| School type | The maths route | What to send us |
|---|---|---|
| British | National Curriculum from Year 1 to Year 9. From Year 10, GCSE or International GCSE, picked subject by subject. A-Level or International A-Level in the sixth form. | The board and syllabus code, for example Edexcel 1MA1 or 4MA1, or Cambridge 0580 |
| Indian | CBSE with NCERT textbooks, or ICSE, from Class 1 to Class 12, on an April-to-March school year. | The Class, and for Class 10 whether it is Maths Standard or Basic |
| American | Maths taught grade by grade to US standards, then named high-school courses such as Algebra 1, Geometry and Algebra 2. | The grade and the course name on the timetable |
| IB | MYP maths, then the Diploma: Analysis & Approaches or Applications & Interpretation, at SL or HL. | AA or AI, and SL or HL |
A few Dubai schools change route part-way, for example British to Year 11 and the IB Diploma after it. Tell us the route your child is on now and the one that comes next, and we plan with both in view.
Dubai time
Dubai schools teach Monday to Friday, and Friday is a short day that must end by 11:30. That makes Sunday to Thursday evenings, the nights before a school day, the ones most Dubai families book.
Our teachers are in India, 1 hour 30 minutes ahead of the UAE. Since neither country ever changes its clocks, a 16:00 lesson in Dubai is 17:30 for the teacher in December and in June alike.
Most Dubai lessons sit between 16:00 and 19:00 local time, which is early evening in India. During Ramadan, send us the timings your school announces and we'll move the class so it stays clear of iftar.
India's lead over Dubai, fixed all year. A 17:00 class in Dubai starts at 18:30 for your teacher.
In step with school
Before each class the teacher checks where your child's school has reached, whether that is simultaneous equations in Year 9 or the quadratic equations chapter in CBSE Class 10. The lesson backs up that week's teaching rather than running a second syllabus.
Teacher and student write on the same live page in ClassArc's own browser classroom, with a whiteboard beside it and ArcSpace for 3D pictures of things like fraction pieces and volumes. There is no Zoom and nothing to install.
Homework matches the day's class and whatever school covers next. Your child uploads a photo or types answers inside ClassArc, the teacher reviews it before the next lesson, and that lesson opens by going through it.
Getting started
The only thing we need at the start is your child's school and year. The free class works out the rest.
No syllabus code at home? A photo of the front of one mock paper is enough for us to identify it.
The shortcut most Dubai parents useUse the form below, or WhatsApp us on +91 78781 48026. Add the course or syllabus code if you have it to hand.
Most families choose a school-night slot between 16:00 and 19:00. WhatsApp reminders arrive 24 hours and 1 hour before, in Dubai time.
With the teacher who would go on to teach your child, and no card needed. They start a little above the current unit and work back until the ground is firm.
We tell you what we found, even if it is that tutoring is not needed. If you go ahead, it is the same teacher and the same slot every week.
For parents
You don't have to sit in on lessons to know what is happening. These are the things every family gets.
Why it suits Dubai
Dubai families are more likely than most to have children at different kinds of school, and to move between countries. These points follow from that.
British National Curriculum, GCSE, International GCSE and A-Level; CBSE and ICSE; IB MYP and Diploma; and American school maths. Siblings at different kinds of school can both learn with us.
The same person every week, who remembers which topic slipped last term. If the pairing isn't right, your next class is free and with a different teacher.
A student who arrives mid-course from India, the UK or another Gulf school usually has gaps in particular places. The free class is spent finding exactly where.
Classes cost less than typical Dubai rates because our teachers live and work in India, where costs are lower. The saving is geographic, and nobody is underpaid.
Buy 8, 24 or 48 classes. Nothing renews by itself, unused classes are refunded if you stop, and you can reschedule free up to 5 minutes before a class.
Enough time to go through homework, teach something new and try an exam-style question without rushing any of the three.
Prices in UAE dirhams. Every class is 55 minutes, one-to-one, with the same teacher. First class free, no card required.

When you book a demo or sign up for classes, we collect your name, your child's name, email, WhatsApp number, time zone, and the grade you're inquiring about. That's it. We don't ask for or store any payment details on this website. We don't use trackers, cookies for advertising, or third-party analytics that profile you.
Only to schedule and run your classes, send you class reminders, share homework and progress, and answer your questions. We'll reach out by email or WhatsApp, depending on what you tell us works better for you.
Your teacher, and the small team supporting them at ClassArc. We never sell, rent, or share your information with anyone outside ClassArc. We use Web3Forms to receive form submissions, and standard email and WhatsApp for messaging, nothing else.
We treat any information about your child with extra care. We only collect what we need to teach them well, such as their grade and what they're working on. We never use a child's photo, name, or work in any marketing without the parent's explicit written permission.
You can ask us to show you what we have on file, correct anything inaccurate, or delete your data entirely, at any time. Just email hello@theclassarc.com and we'll handle it within a few days.

ClassArc is a one-on-one online tutoring service. We provide live, scheduled classes between a teacher and a student, along with homework, feedback, and study support.
Each class is 55 minutes. You can reschedule or cancel a class up to 5 minutes before it starts. If you miss a class without notice, we usually credit it back to your balance and reschedule based on what works for the teacher and student.
The first demo class is free, no card required. After that, plans are billed in advance for the number of classes you choose (8, 24, or ~48). We'll send you a payment link directly once you've picked a plan.
If you want to stop classes at any point, we refund whatever class balance is left on your plan. No questions asked, no friction. Refunds are processed within 7 business days.
We expect students and parents to treat teachers with respect, and teachers to do the same. We reserve the right to end the relationship if classes become unsafe, abusive, or disruptive, with a full refund of any unused balance.
If we update these terms, we'll email you before the changes take effect, so you have time to review them.
