What is ClassArc?
ClassArc is live one-to-one online maths tutoring for school-age children. One teacher and one child, for 55 minutes. The same teacher every week. Classes run inside our own classroom software, not a video call: a shared worksheet you both write on, a shared whiteboard, and answers that sync live.
Check three things first
IGCSE maths in Dubai is not one exam. Two boards dominate, each sets more than one maths qualification, and many Dubai British schools enter maths as the UK GCSE even when other subjects are IGCSE.
Before buying a revision guide, check the board (Cambridge International or Pearson Edexcel), the syllabus code (0580 and 4MA1 are separate qualifications with separate papers) and the tier (Core or Extended at Cambridge, Foundation or Higher at Edexcel).

Boards revise their specifications from time to time. We check the current version on the board's own website before each exam season, and any revision guide you buy should match it too.
The UAE R papers
For the June series, Pearson gives UAE centres regional versions of most International GCSE papers, maths included, marked with an R in the paper code. The specification and the standard are the same as the ordinary papers, but the questions are different.
A Dubai student on 4MA1 Higher therefore sits papers coded 1HR and 2HR in June, and each has its own mark scheme. Standard past papers remain good practice because the content is identical, as long as every paper is marked against the scheme written for it.
The November series does not use R papers. Cambridge handles the same problem another way, issuing numbered variants of each paper to different regions, and your child's school knows which variants its UAE candidates receive.

How we prepare
Practice comes from your child's exact specification and tier. In Year 11 that includes the R versions for Edexcel candidates, each marked against its own scheme rather than the standard one.
Working goes onto a shared live worksheet, so the teacher spots the exact line where a bounds question or a quadratic inequality starts to lose marks, not just the wrong final answer.
Edexcel's International GCSE has no non-calculator paper, so students arriving from a GCSE-style course often under-practise it. We build in table mode, memory functions and quick checks.

Every topic in your child's specification is covered, in the order the school teaches it. These are the ones families ask about most.
The two years
The plan follows the school year in Dubai, which ends with the June series for most IGCSE maths candidates.
Year 10 is for making the content solid. Year 11 is for making it hold up under a clock.
How we split the courseBy the form below, or on WhatsApp at +91 78781 48026. From the code on it we confirm the board, the specification and the tier.
Fifty-five minutes with the teacher who would take the course on, starting slightly above the current unit and working back to where the gaps begin.
Before each class the teacher checks which unit school has reached, so tutoring reinforces it. Homework goes in through ClassArc and is reviewed before the next lesson.
Timed papers by code, then the R versions for Edexcel students. Moving from two classes a week to three from around March suits most before June.
Price and honesty
IGCSE sits in ClassArc's senior band, and every class is 55 minutes, one to one. Plans are blocks of 8, 24 or 48 classes with no joining fee, and nothing renews by itself.
The price is below typical Dubai IGCSE rates for one reason: our teachers live and work in India, where costs are lower. The saving is geographic, not a cut in anyone's pay.
After the free class we'll also tell you honestly whether Core, Extended, Foundation or Higher looks right for your child. The school makes the entry decision, but it helps to raise a doubt in Year 10 rather than in the exam hall.

Each class is 55 minutes. You can reschedule or cancel a class up to 5 minutes before it starts. If you miss a class without notice, we usually credit it back to your balance and reschedule based on what works for the teacher and student.
The first demo class is free, no card required. After that, plans are billed in advance for the number of classes you choose (8, 24, or ~48). We'll send you a payment link directly once you've picked a plan.
If you want to stop classes at any point, we refund whatever class balance is left on your plan. No questions asked, no friction. Refunds are processed within 7 business days.
We expect students and parents to treat teachers with respect, and teachers to do the same. We reserve the right to end the relationship if classes become unsafe, abusive, or disruptive, with a full refund of any unused balance.
